AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TILE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COUAISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE SOUTMITEST CORNER OF 29TH AND ADAMS STREETS AND PROPERTY ON.
THE NORTW,1ES^1 CORNER OF 29TH AND JACKSON STREETS, AND AMENDING THE
PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah
Planning and Zoning Commission on March 4, 1959, entitled: "A
RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
AND ZONING COI•I-C SSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE
SOUTH!+LEST CORNER OF 29TH AND ADAMS STREETS AND PROPERTY ON THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF 29TH AND JACKSON STREETS", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set
forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One Family
Residential to B-3 General Business:
First Tract
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of 29th and Adams Streets; thence west
with the center line of Adams Street 181
feet; thence south parallel with 29th Street
205 feet to the center line of Clinton Court;
thence east with the center line of Clinton
Court to the center line of 29th Street;
thence north with the center line of 29th
street to the beginning.
Second Tract
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of Jackson and 29th Streets; thence
north along the .center line of 29th Street
206.25 feet to the center line of an alley;
thence west with the center line of said
alley 255 feet to the center line of an un-
named street (sometimes called 29th Street);
thence south with the center line of said
unnamed street 206.25 feet to the fienter
line of Jackson Street; thence east with
the center line of Jackson Street to bhe
beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the
map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "City of Paducah
Plan - Zoning Map" be, and they are hereby, amended to the e tent
and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change
provided for in Section 2 hereof.

SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision
of this Ordinance shall be found to be &noperative, ineffective or
invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph
or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
Ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision
hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
