OF SUCH ANNEXATION

PADUCAH, KEITTUCKY:
SECTIOHI 1. It is hereby proposed that certain territory
adjacent to the southwest corporate limits of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, more particularly described hereinafter, be annexed to the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, and that said property so proposed to be
annexed is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north property line of the
Blandville Road, said point being loll east of the north
east corner of the intersection of Cardinal Lane (42nd St.)
and the Blandville Road; thence in a northerly direction
and with Iiolan4s east line, 369.234; thence in an easterly
direction and parallel with the present city limits 1234
to the southeast corner of a. lot owned by Loveless; thence
in a northerly direction and with Loveless east line 1304
to the present city limits, thence in a westerly direction
and with the present city limits 2234, to the east line of
flock 6, Minerva Place Addition, recorded in Plat Book A,
Pages 248, 249; themce in a southerly direction and with
the east line of Block 6, 499.234 to the north property
line of the Blandville Road; thence in an easterly direction
and with the north property line of the Blandville Road 1004
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby declared that extending the boundary
of the City of Paducah, Y.entucky by annexing the property described
in Section 1 hereof is desirable and necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in at least -ten
(10) issues of the Sun Democrat,a newspaper in Paducah, Kentucky,
and the extension of the city limits as herein proposed shall not
become effective until the adoption of an ordinance annexing the
property described in Section 1 hereof as herein proposed, and such
ordinance shall not be adopted until publication of this ordinance
as provided herein and until the expiration of a period of thirty
(30) days after the passage of this ordinance.
Notice is hereby given of a provision of Section $1.110 of
Kentucky Revised Statutes that one or more residents or freeholders
of the herein territory proposed to be annexed may, within thirty (30)
days after the enactment of this ordinance, file a petition in the Circuit
Court of McCracken County, Kentucky, setting forth the reasons who such
territory, or any part of it, should not be annexed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
