AN ORDINANCE'AI;IENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND PRESCRIBING THE 11MABERSHIP, TERI.--S OF OFFICE
AND DUTIES OF SUCH BOARD", 1,-1HICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
C01,11ISSIONERS ON JUNE 1, 1960
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COWISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on June 1, 1960, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said
section as amended shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established
a 'Recreation Advisory Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky"
consisting of seven (7) members who shall be of legal age and
residents of the County of iicCracken. The members shall be
appointed by the Mayor subject to approval of the Board of
Commissioners. Three (3) of the members shall be appointed for
a term of one (I) year, three (3) of the members shall be appointed
for a term of two (2) years and one (1) member shall be appointed
for a term of three (3) years. All appointments after the
original -'Cerm shall be for a period of three (3) years. Any
member can be removed at any time by motion adopted by the Board
of Commissioners."
SEC^lION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict here -pith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
