A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPAR TI-IEHT OF HIGHUAYS OF TO
CON<1101 UEALTH OF KENTUCKY TO ABANDON I• AINTENANCE OF A CERTAIN
PORTION OF PARK AVENUE, FOUNTAIN AVENUE AND SOUTH SEVENTEENTH
STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
JI-MREAS, the Department of Highways of the Commonwealth of
Kentucky has been providing maintenance of a certain portion of
Park Avenue, Fountain Avenue and South Seventeenth Street in the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
;7I' REAS, such portions of sane have been abandoned for
state highway purposes, and
11HEREAS, the Department of Highways of the Commonwealth of
Kentuc'cy desires to abandon maintenance of such portions of said
streets,
IIO:d THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0129Q:SSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ]0NTUCKY:
SECTIO,I 1. That the Department of Highways of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky is hereby authorized to abandon maintenance of a certain
portion of Park Avenue, Fountain Avenue and South Seventeenth Street
in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as follows:
All that portion of I�IP73-6172-G on Park Avenue
beginning at Fountain Avenue and extending along
Park Avenue to Thompson Avenue; and all that
portion of I -T73 -6112-J on Fountain Avenue and
South Seventeenth Street beginning at Kentucky
Avenue and South Seventeenth Street and extending
along South Seventeenth Street to Broadway and
continuing on Fountain Avenue to Park Avenue.
SECTIOV 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
