A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY PlANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR
BIDS FOR OIIE (1) NEW ELECTRIC WRITEPRINTER AND AMMONIA DRY DEVELOPER
MACHINE FOR USE IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, ARID PRESCRIBING THE

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO?'SfrJSSI01dERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, IENTUCXY:
SECTION 1. That the City flanager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the sale to the
City of one (1) new Electric 'Whiteprinter and Ammonia Dry Developer
Machine, Table Model, to print 42 inch aide paper. Printing speed
up to 14 feet per minute. 1500 Watts Quartz Lamp. Cover for
machine to be included. :Vleight of machine between 400 and 450
pounds. F.O.B. Paducah, Kentucky.
Each bidder is to state tRe amount he will accept in cash
for the purchase price of such equipment, and also the amount of such
purchase price to be allowed by accepting as trade-in of one Wickes
Liodel "E" Two Tube Simplex Printer.
Each bidder shall state the length of time required for
delivery after a purchase contract is awarded, and shall furnish
full information as to guarantee.
SECTIOid 2. The City f-Ianager shall advertise for bids by a
notice posted at the City Hall door and by inserting notice of the
request for bids in the Sun Democrat to be published once a week
for three consecutive weeks. All bids shall be sealed and no bid
shall be received after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening
of same. All bids received up to -the time fixed in the notice for
the opening of same shall be filed vrith the Board of Commissioners
who may let a contract to the lowest and best bidder. The Board
reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the City shall not
become obligated to purchase said equipment until the adoption of an
ordinance authorizing the execution of a..purchase contract.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
