AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE EAST SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET BET4dEEN HUSBANDS STREET AND
NORTON STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COALU SSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on May 6, 1960 entitled "A RESOLUTION CON-
STITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COP•MISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE
OF EIGHTH STREET BETNEEI? HUSBANDS STREET AND NORTON STREET", be
approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two Family Residential
to B-1 Neighborhood Business:
Beginning at a point in the center line of 8th Street 203 feet
north of the center line of Caldwell Street in the line of the
present K-2 (Heavy Industrial) Zone; thence in an easterly
direction and with the line of said M-2 Zone, parallel with
Caldwell Street, 168.25 feet to the center line of an alley;
thence in a southerly direction and with the center line of
said alley, and parallel with 8th Street, 203 feet to the
center line of Caldwell Street; thence in an eastwardly
direction and with the center line of Caldwell Street 34.75
feet to the center line of a 16 foot alley; thence ina
southerly direction parallel with 8th Street and with the
center line of said alley to the center line of a 12 foot
alley; thence in a westerly direction with the center line
of said 12 foot alley and parallel with Husbands Street to
a point 97 feet from the center line of 8th Street; thence in
a southerly direction and parallel with 8th Street 136 feet
to the center line of Husbands Street; thence in a westerly
direction and with the center line of Husbands Street 97 feet
to the center line of 8th Street; thence in a northwardly
direction and with the center line of 8th STreet to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map re-
ferred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING
P•IAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the eztent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2
hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision

hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
. from and after its adoption.
