AN ORBINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CLARENCE COLE, JACOB ROSENFIELD
AND JOSEPH A. ROSENFIELD FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; AUTHORIZING SUCIi SALE TO THEM AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF COI+VEYANCE
TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
offer of Clarence Cole, Jacob Rosenfield and Joseph A. Rosenfield
in the amount of p1,250.00 cash for the purchase of the following
property owned by the city of Baducah, Kentucky and situated in
such city:
TRACT NO. 1
"Beginning at a point 55 feet from the south-
east corner of Fourth and Clay Streets, same
being the present dividing point between the
property of Harriett Amelia Nagel and the herein
described property; thence with the east property
line of North Fourth Street, and in a Southerly
direction and towards Harrison Street, a distance
of 70 feet and 6 inches; thence at right angles
and in a direction towards Third Street a dis-
tance of 163 feet 3 inches to the west line of a
public alley running North and South through
Block No. 12 Addition "D" Old Tom; thence at right
angles and with the Gest line of said alley towards
Clay Street, a distance of 70 feet 6 inches to a
stake; thence at right angles and in a westerly
direction a distance of 163 feet 3 inches to the
east property line of North Fourth Street, tie
point of beginning, and being known as 524 North
Fourth Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
the homeplace of Mary Ella Wahl.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky by Mary Ella Wahl by deed dated
September 20, 1920, and recorded in Deed Book 126,
page 21, McCracken County Court C1erkts office.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of ?1,250.00 to
the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are, by this ordinance,
authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
a deed conveying said property to said purchasers, with only such
warranty as to title as is allowed by lair, and subject to any state
of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
