AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 31ST AND
JEFFERSON STREETS AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORADINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on June 17, 1959, entitled "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 31ST AND JEFFERSON STREETS"
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 One Family Residential
to R-4 Multiple Dwelling:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Jefferson
Street 250 feet west of the west line of 30th Street;
thence south parallel with 30th Street 216 feet to the
center line of an alley; thence west with the center line
of said alley to the center line of 31st Street; thence
north with the center line of 31st Street to the center
line of Jefferson Street; thence east with the center
line of Jefferson Street to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
