AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8B OF THE "APPOINTIVE
EMPLOYEES' CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON MARCH
15, 1958
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 8B of the "Appointive Employeest
Civil Service Ordinance, which was adopted by the Board of Commission-
ers on December 2, 1947, and amended on March 15, 1958 be, and the
same is hereby amrnded and reordained so that said section as amended
and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 8-B. There is hereby authorized and created the
following positions in the Public Works Department, heretofore known
as the Street Department, and the salaries of each position, provided
the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

3 Foreman (3 positions) 315.00
4 Clerk -typist': 190.00
The clerk -typist shall be paid at the rate of 5P190.00 per
month for the first six months; at the expiration of six months
?200.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months
$210.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months
$220.00 per month; such increase to be made upon recommendation
of the City Manager.

13 This division shall be under the direction of
the above mentioned Director of Public Works
and Assistant Director of Public Works.

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
