AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING4,100DALL MOTOR SALES FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TIVIO (2) 1954 PLYMOUTH AUTOA;OBILES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SA14E
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0101ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
King -Woodall Motor Sales in the amount of ;;3,977.0$ less 4;1,527.90 for
trade-in of two (2) damaged cars, making the total delivery cost of
4;2,449.1$ for the sale to the City of two (2) 1954 Plymouth Savoy Model
automobiles, 114" Wheelbase, 110 Horsepower wngine, 6.70x15•:4 -ply tires,
equipped with heavy duty springs, clutch 1011, HD Shock absorbers, Heavier
guage wire springs in seat and seat back cushions, battery heat shield,
135 ampere battery, Heater, Oil bath air cleaner, purilator and directional
signals.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into a contract for the purchase of said automobiles as set out in Section
1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
