FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW MOTOR GRADER, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
bid of Whayne Supply Company, Inc. in the sum of 'p20,$22.00, less
$4,250.00 for trade-in of one (1) Caterpillar Motor Patrol Grader No. 12,
making the total delivery cost of $16,572.00 for the sale to the City of
one (1) new motor grader having the specifications set out in the
bid of said Whayne Supply Company, Inc, received and filed by the Board
of Commissioners on March $, 1958. Delivery to be made within 20 days
from the execution of a contract to purchase same.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, auth-
orized and empowered to enter into a contract for the purchase of
said motor grader as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
