OF ;MAGES FOR VARIOUS CLASSES OF WORK CALLED FOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEW SCHOOL BUILDING TO BE LOCATED AT 9TH AND CALDWELL STREETS
IPI THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
the Board of Education of the City of Paducah has reques#?ed
that the City of Paducah proceed pursuant to Kentucky Revised Statutes,
Section 162.160 to 162.290 inclusive, to construct a school building
upon certain property in the City of Paducah located at plinth and
Caldwell Streets, and
the Board of Education of the City of Paducah has conveyed
said property to the City pursuant to said Statutes and has taken such
further action pursuant to said Statutes to cause the City of Paducah to
advertise for bids for construction of said building, and
WHEREAS, KRS 337.510--337.520 require that the City shall ascertain
the prevailing rates of wages of laborers, workmen, mechanics, helpers,
assistants and apprentices for the class of work called for in the con-
struction of said building in this locality,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah that the following schedule of rates of wages be attached
to and made a part of the specifications .for the said work and shall be
printed on the bidding blanks and made a part of the contract for the
construction of said building, said schedule of rates of wages having
been ascertained to be the prevailing rate of wages of laborers, workmen,
mechanics, helpers, assistants and apprentices for the class of work called
for in the construction of said building:

Class A. Operators:

Auto Patrol, Batcher plant, bituminous paver, cableway, clam-
shell, concrete mix (21 cu, ft. or over), concrete pump, crane,
crusher plant, derrick, derrick boat, ditching and trenching
machine, dra_-line, dredge engineer, elevator, elevating grader
and all types of loaders, hoe -type machine, hoisting engine,
locomotive, LeTourneau or carry -all scoop, bulldozer, mechanic
orangepeel bucket, piledriver, pourer blade, roller (bituminousi,
scarifier, shovel, tractor shovel, truck crane, well point,
winch truck push dozer grout pump high lift, all tvpes of
boom cats, push boat and fork lift.

All air compressors (200 cu, ft, per min, or greater capacity),
bituminous mixes, concrete mixer (under 21 cu. ft.), welding
machine, motor boat, flexplane, fireman, boom type tamping
machine, tractair, truck crane oiler, greases on greaser
'acilities, servicing heavy equipment, form grader, roller
rock), subgrader, tractor (50 hp or over), bull float,

Bituminous distributor, cement gun, conveyor, drill runner,
mud jack, paving joint machine pump, roller (earth), tamping
machine, tractors (under 50 hpj, vibrator, oilers, air com-
