KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City i,Ianager be and he is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah with Sinclair
Refining Company for the purchase of all Regular gasoline and Ethyl
gasoline at the established tank wagon price at time of delivery less
Federal Ta:: and less discount of 0.02 per gallon; in no event is the
net price of Regular gasoline to exceed 0.219 per gallon less the above
discount of 0.02 per gallon, and in no event shall the net price of
Ethyl gasoline exceed 0.2532 per gallon less said discount; the octane
rating of Regular gasoline to be not less than 90 and the octane rating
of Ethyl gasoline to be not less than 97; motor oils as follows: Best
premium grade, detergent H -D, in 55 -gallon drums, at 0.59 per gallon;
First grade, non -detergent at -.42 per gallon; First grade detergent
H -D at 0.48 per gallon; Diesel detergent at 0.48 per gallon; Hydraulic
oil at 0.43 per gallon; greases as follows.: Chassis lubricant, all
purpose, in 100-120 pound drums, at 0.20 per pound less discount of
0.0125 per pound; Gear lube oil, weight 140 and 90 in 100-120 pound
drums, at 0.15 per pound less discount of 0.0125 per pound; Diesel fuel
at the present tank wagon price of 0.157 per gallon less discount of
0.0158 per gallon; kerosene at 0.153 per gallon less discount of 0.0155
per gallon; and anti -freeze at }3.25 per gallon, less discount of ..11.08
per gallon.
All products furnished to the City will be paid for on or about
the 10th day of the month following the purchase and the City is to
have a 1% cash discount in 10 days on all lube oils, greases and gear
lubricants and a 20 cash discount in 10 days on anti -freeze and is not
to be required to make a deposit on drums if drums are returned within
90 days. if empty drums are not returned within 90 days a deposit of
}5.00 for each 54 -gallon drum is to be made, which shall be returned
if and when such drums are returned in good condition within one year
from delivery.

All prices are to be guaranteed against advance and the City is to
receive the benefit of any price reduction.
The Company will furnish and install three electrically operated and
metered gasoline pumps, necessary tanks and concrete islands and will
furnish one electrically operated and metered diesel pump and under-
ground tank.
In the event of fire or other emergencies, the Company shall agree to
give 24-hour emergency tank truck service to any point in the City,
seven days per week.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and'if adopted shall be in full
force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
