AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE "L'? SHAPED PUBLIC ALLEY
L'7HICH CONNECTS CLINTON COURT 1VT1TH 29TH STREET, LOCATED IN
THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY CLI14TOIll COURT, 29TH STREET, JACKSON
STREET AND THE P & I RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-11ISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby
close that certain public alley located within the city
limits of the City of Paducah, which is bounded and des-
cribed as follows:
Being the "L't shaped public alley
located in Paducah, Kentucky, shown
on the plat of survey of the property
of H. B. Banks prepared by Elmer Y.
Hollis, Engineer, and recorded in
the office of the Clerk of the McCracken
County Court in Plat Book "F", at page
26, and beginning at Banks? corner in
the west boundary of 29th Street 135
feet north of the north boundary of
Jackson Street; thence in a westerly
direction with Banks? line a distance
of 168 feet to a corner in Banks? land;
thence at right anglers toward Clinton
Court with Banks?line 129 feet; thence
at right angles with Clinton Court
toward 29th Street a distance of 20
feet to another Banks' corner; thence
at right angles toward Jackson Street
with Banks' line 114 feet; thence at
right angles toward 29th Street with
Banks' line a distance of 148 feet to
the westerly boundary of 29th Street;
thence at right angles with the wester-
ly boundary of 29th Street a distance
of 15 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah is hereby authorized and directed to institute an
action in the McCracken Circuit court and take all necessary
steps to obtain.a judgment in said court under the provisions
of IMS 94.360 which shall complete the closure of said alley
and declare the same to be legally closed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
