A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AS COMPLETED THE CONTRACTS OF CARROTHERS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INCORPORATED, EASTWOOD PLUMBING AND HEATING
COMPANY AND CAR14AC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IPI CONNECTION WITH THE SANITARY
SEWERAGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO
MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1955, the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky authorized and accepted the following
contracts in connection with the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement
1. Carrothers Construction Company, Inc, for Contract No. 1,
Sewage Pump Stations, and Contract No. 3, Sewage Treatment Plant.
2. Eastwood Plumbing & Heating Company, Sections II and III
of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers.
Carmac Construction Company, Section I of Contract No. 2,
Sanitary Sewers,
AND PIHEREAS, it -appears that all construction work under all
of said contracts has been completed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COPT-IISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the construction work performed in connection
with the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program by Carrothers Con-
struction Company, Inc. under Contract No. 1, Sewage Pump Stations
and Contract No. 3, Sewage Treatment Plant, and by Eastwood Plumbing
& Heating Company under Contract No. 2, Sections II and III, Sanitary
Sewers, and Carmac Construction Company under Section I of Contract
No. 2, Sanitary Sewers, be accepted as completed as of November 1,
1957, subject to the replacement of defective equipment or parts
thereof within a period of one (1) year from such date as provided
for in the contracts for such work.
SECTION 2. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to make final payments under the contracts
set out in Section 1 hereof from the Sanitary Sewerage Construction

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
