HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 76, No Ordinance Number76 j AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COI-T•ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PARK AVENUE BETWEEN 6TH AND 7TH STREETS AND AI -MINDING THE PADUCAH ZONING O_DINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI-rf_ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April 7, 1954„ entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COi%11ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PARK AVENUE BETIJEEN 6TH AND 7TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1; to B-1: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 6th Street and Park Avenue; thence south i•rith the center lire of 6th Street 203.25 feet; thence crest parallel with Park Avenue to the center line of 7th Street; thence north with the center line of 7th Street to the center line of Park Avenue; thence east with the center line of Park. Avenue to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAIN - ZONING T_AP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effe and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTIOI: 4.. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective,or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, para- graphs and provisions. SECTIOI? 5.
