AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR-11ILSON CHEVROLET-
CADILLAC, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF
ONE (1) NEW 1957 CHEVROLET AUTOMOBILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
of Taylor -Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the sale to the City
of one (1) new 1957 Deluxe five -passenger, four -door Chevrolet
automobile, Model 2103-8, black color and to be equipped with
105 A1,T. Alternator, installation of which is to be supervised by
the City, deluze heater, oil bath air cleaner purilator, directional
signals, spot light, standard first line 4 -ply tires with tubes,
spare wheel and tire and automatic transmission. The purchase Price
for said automobile is to be the sum of ,'2,800.32, less the sum of
,991.2$ as trade-in allowance for one (1) 1952 Chevrolet Sedan Model KJ
Motor Ido. KAA 325503, making the net purchase price to be paid by the
City in the sum of 1a1,809.04. Delivery to be made within 21 days
after the execution of a purchase contract.
SECTION 2. That the City I --Tanager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said automobile as set
out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTIOPi 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
