HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 737, No Ordinance Number73:7 c AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANIIING AND ZONING COWIIISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN LEIBERMAN STREET AND HUSBANDS ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on May 1, 1957, entitled: A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMRIISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN LEIBERPMN STREET AND THE HUSBANDS ROAD, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTOON 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3. Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Bridge and Leiberman Streets; thence north with the center line of Leiberman Street 195 feet more or less to the center line of an alley; thence west with the center line of said alley, following its meanders, to the center line of Koerner Street; thence north with the center line of Koerner Street 44 feet more or less to a point; thence west along the line dividing the properties of Grimes and Ferguson and that line extended, 170.33 feet to the east boundary of the existing B-3 zone; thence south with said B-3 zone boundary to the center line of Bridge Street; thence west with the center line of Bridge Street to the center line of Husbands Road; thence south with the center line of Husbands Road to the north boundary of the existing B-3 zone between Bridge Street and the I. C. Railroad right- of-way; thence east with the said B-3 zone boundary to the west boundary of said B-3 zone west of Leiberman Street; thence north with the said B-3 zone boundary to the center line of Bridge Street; thence east with the center line of Bridge Street to the beginning point. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING MAP11 be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective of invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect qny other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordi- nance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 738 SECTION 5.
