A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 OF SECTIONS II A?D III OF COHTRACT NO. 2, SANITARY SEWERS OF THE SANITARY SMIERAGE II-IPROVZKENT PROGMIM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY IdANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY TO EASTIJOOD PLUi-�IIIG AND HEATING COi-TANY WHEREAS, on December o, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah approved and accepted the bid of Eastwood Plumbing ?- Heating Company for the construction of Sections II and III of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, and authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Eastwood Plumbing cc Heating Company for such construction, and WHEREAS,said contract provided for certain possible change orders, and 1,1HEREAS, Black cc Veatch.; Consulting Engineers for the con- struction, have recommended that an order designated as. Change Order No. 3 providing for cost of labor and materials for the relocation of water and gas lines four inches and larger in size as required to clear the twenty-four inch vitrified clay sewer pipe installed under the aforesaid contract be executed resulting in an increase of the contract price of •'4,171.95. NOW TIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0144ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 3 of the contract for the construction of Sections II and III of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program as set out above, re- sulting in an increase of ..?1+,171.95 of the contract price, be approved, and that the City Kanager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute such change order to Eastwood Plumbing &Heating Company on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2.
