A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR APID CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A DEED TO JOE RESENFIELD AND JAKE ROSEIIFIELD, CoiIVEYING PROPERTY AT 819
BROADWAY IN PADUCAII, h.ENTUCKY, PURCHASED BY THEM FROM THE CITY OF PADUCAH
ON DECEMBER 17, 1940
WHEREAS, on December 17, 1940 the Board of Commissioners, by
ordinance, accepted an offer of Joe Rosenfield and Jake Rosenfield in the
sum of ?1650.00 for the purchase of property at 819 Broadway in Paducah,
Kentucky, having a frontage of 53 feet 3 inches and a depth of 165 feet, and
WHEREAS, said sum of 51650.00 was paid to the City of Paducah
by the said Joe Rosenfield and Jake Rosenfield and a deed executed to them
pursuant to the terms of the aforesaid ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said deed was never presented of record at the office
of the Clerk of 1IcCracken County Court and the same has been lost and
destroyed and not noir available, and
WHEREAS, the said Joe and Jake Rosenfield have requested the City
to execute another deed to them conveying said property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO1•'u4ISSION 2tS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAII, I`FNTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a deed to Joe Rosenfield and Jake Rosenfield conveying
the property at 819 Broadway in Paducah, Kentucky, purchased by them from the
City of Paducah on December 17, 1940; said deed conveying the aforesaid property
to them with covenant of Special Warranty as to title; subject to any and all
unpaid taxes and subject to any state of fact which might be shown by an
accurate survey of said property.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
