HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 711, No Ordinance Number711 Y✓ AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PIANNIAIG AND ZOI•IING C01111ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF OAK STREET BET4JEEII PINE STREET AND ELLIS STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COliMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April 3, 1957, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COI+ll-,iISSION ON TIT PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF OAK STREET BETI MEN PINE STREET AMID ELLIS STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to 14-1: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Oak Street and Pine Street; thence north along the center line of Pine Street 155 feet to the center line of an alley; thence east with the center line of said alley to the center line of Ellis Street; thence south with the center line of Ellis Street 270 feet to the property line of the C. St. L & I4.0. R.R.; thence west parallel with Oak Street, and along said property line, to the center line of Pine Street; thence north along the center line of Pine Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the mao referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING I1AP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordi- nance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
