SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF Coj�giISSIOidERS ON DE .:BE -',Z
2, 1947, AND AMENDED ON OCTOBER 6, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01,11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 9 of the "Appointive Employees' Civil Service
Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 2, 1947,
and amended on October 6, 1953, be further amended and reordained so that said
Section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 9. There is hereby authorized and created the following
positions not assigned to any department of the City of Paducah, but directly
under the supervision of the City Ianager, and the salary of each position,
provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as folloris:

Inspections
9 Building cc Electrical Inspector 390.00
10 Clerk -typist 220.00
Clerk -typists under this section shall be paid at the rate
of ;11$0.00 for the first six months, {;;190.00 per month for
the next six months and y1200.00 per month thereafter upon
recommendation of the City Kanage-r.
The Building & Electrical Inspector shall perform the duties
formerly performed by the Building Inspector and the Electrical
Inspector, and said Building & Electrical Inspector shall be
under the direct..;supervision of the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and
after April 1, 1954.
