AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COM4ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BETWEEN 26TH AND 27TH STREETS AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMaSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on March 6, 1957, entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
C01.11ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF BROADWAY BETWEEN 26TH AND 27TH STREET", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby; changed from R-3 to B-1:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Broadway
65 feet west of the center line of 26th Street; thence
west with the center line of Broadway 380 feet to the
center line of 27th Street; thence north with the
center line of 27th Street 187.75 feet to the center
line of an alley; thence east with the center line of
said alley 330 feet to a point; thence south parallel
with 26th Street and along the west boundary of the
present B-1 zone 197.75 feet to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN-
ZOIdING ITAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for
in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or
invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph
or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordi-
nance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
