AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EASEMENT FOR THE LAYING OF WATER
MAINS IN CERTAIN LAND IN KOLB PARK TO THE Commissioners of water
works, for the use and benefit of the city OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
DESCRIBING THE LAND TO BE INCLUDED IN SAID EASEMENT; AND PRESCRIBING
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID EASEMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby granted to the Commissioners
of Water Works, for the use and benefit of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky;. an Easement for the purpose of laying a water main or mains
in certain land in Kolb Park in the City of Paducah; the portion
upon which the Easement is granted being described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east property line
of Sixth Street, 409.73} north of the north east
corner of the intersection of Sixth Street and
Broad Street; thence at right angles in an
easterly direction 172.3$' to the line of an
alley; thence with said alley at an interior
angle of 133 degrees 052 minutes in a south-
easterly direction 13.69'; thence at an interior
angle of 46 degrees 542 minutes in a westerly
direction, 1$1.73' to the east property line of
Sixth Street; thence at right angles in a northerly
direction and with the east property line of Sixth
Street 101 to the point of beginning.
The conditions of the herein granted Easement are that the
Commissioners of Water Works will exercise care and caution for the
protection of personsiand property in the construction and laying
of any water main or mains, and after any construction or repair work
should be done, said Commissioners will cause the surface of the land
described herein to be replaced in its former condition.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular
meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
but it being necessary for the public health and safety of the City
that such aforesaid water main or mains be installed as soon as
possible, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
