KENTUCKY BE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LYiNG ADJACEiT TO THE SOUTHWEST
CORPORATE LIKITS OF THE CITY, AND DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF

WHEREAS under an ordinance adopted on May 22, 1956, the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, by and through its Board of Commissioners,
proposed to extend the boundary of the city by annexing certain
property lying adjacent to the southwest corporate limits of the City,
which property is hereinafter more particularly described, and
', HDREAS said ordinarc e declaring the desirability of extending
the boundary as herein provided has been published in ten (10) issues
of the Sun -Democrat, the official newspaper of the City, and
WHEREAS a period of more than thirty (30) days has elapsed
since the enactment of the aforesaid ordinance, and
WHEREAS no petition or complaint has been filed in the idcCracken
Circuit Court protesting such extension of the city limits.
II01'1 THEREFORE, BE iT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0 21JISSIOIIERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTiOU 1. That the hereinafter described property be annexed
to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, the same being more particularly
described as follows:
Bejinnir_g at a point in the present city limits line at the
south east corner of Lot No. 8 in Block, "Ail in Sunset Court
Subdivision; thence north with the east line of said Lot No. 8
145 feet to a point on the south line of Buchner Lane; thence
continuing across Buckner Lane in a straight line to the north
line of Buckner Lane; thence west with the north line of Buckner
lane 150 feet, more or less, to a point in line with the west
line of Lot 13 in Block "A" in Sunset Court Subdivision; thence
southerly and across Buckner Lane to a point on the south line
of same at the north i•.est corneDf said Lot No. 13; thence
southerly with the west line of said Lot No. 13, 145 feet to the
south west corner of same; thence eastwardly along the rear
linesof Lots Nos. 13, 120 11, 10, 9 and 8 of said Block "A"
150 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
