AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
LYING BETITEEN BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE EAST OF SIXTEENTH STREET
AND AMENDING THEPADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
. I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI+[IIISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on May 11, 1956, entitled: TTA RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
Co1:J1ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN
BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE EAST OF SIXTEENTH STREET", be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3:
Beginning at a point in the south line of Broadway
413.25 feet, more or less, east of the east line of
15th Street, which point marks the division line
between the existing B-3 and R-3 zones; thence north
at right angles to the south line of Broadway to the
center line of Broadway; t4ence west with the center
line of Broadway to the center line of 16th Street,
as 16th Street exists south of Broadway; thence south
with the center line of 16th Street to the south
line of the existing R-3 zone between Broadway and
Kentucky Avenue; thence east with the south line of
said R-3 zone (the north line of the existing B-3 zone)
to the east line of the existing R-3 zone 413.25 feet,
more or less, east of the east line of 15th Street;
thence north with the line dividing the existing R-3
and B-3 zones to the point of beginning.
That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision
of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative,ineffective
or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such
section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of
this ordinance to make each and every section,paragraph and pro-
vision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and

SECTION . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
