PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 27TH STREET AND BROADWAY AND A114ENDIDIG
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CODMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah
Planning and Zoning Commission on April 18, 1956, entitled: "A.:
RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND
ZONING CMIISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH-
EAST CORNER OF 27TH STREET AND BROADI°IAY", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION.2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B -l:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Broadway
and 27th Street; thence south with the center line of 27th
Street 206.25 feet to the intersection of that line with the
center line of an alley; thence east along the center line of
said alley 180 feet; thence north along the west boundary of
the existing B-1 zone to the center line of Broadway; thence
west with the center line of Broadway to the beginning. I
SECTION 3_ That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and,the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH.PLAN-
ZONING MAP11 be, and they are hereby,amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That -the Mayor of the City of Paduchh be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the i
Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission in behalf of said City a
covenant to the effect that -the business use of the aforesaid property
shall be restricted to the erection of one story buildings for use by
doctors, dentists, chiropractors, chiropodists, lawyers, accountants,
insurance agents, real estate brokers and architects, unless and until
other business uses are approved by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission, which said covenant shall run with the land.
SECTION 5. That if any section,oparagraph or provision
of this omdinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or
invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph
or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance
to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
