AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF A CITY PHYSICIAN
FOR THE TREATMENT OF ALL INDIGENT WHITE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED BY THE
CITY PHYSICIAN; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF HIS COMPENSATION; AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH!!, WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JANUARY 23, 1951, AND AMENDED ON NOVEHIBER
4, 1952
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
IISECTION 1. That Section 3 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on January 23, 1951, and amended on November 4, 1952, be, and the
same is hereby amended so that said Section as amended shall read
as follows:
"SECTION 3. The compensation of the City Physician shall be
�I $450.00 per month, the amount of said salary to be paid to him at
the same time as the salaries of other city employees are paid,
and payment thereof shall be effective as of April 1, 1954"•
SECTION -2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
�Iherewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be.in full force and effect
II on and after April 1, 1954•
