AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTOR SALES
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TWO (2) FORD PANEL TRUCKS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SP4E
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
. PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
of King -Woodall Motor Sales in the amount of $3,681.18 for two (2)
1956 Ford trucks, Model F-100, 110" wheelbase, one-half ton capacity,
133 HP - 6 -cylinder engine, 8 foot panel area length and each truck
equipped with heavy duty pprings, heavy duty clutch, two generators
installed, (one 6 -volt, 45 amp. generator, one 12 -volt, 60 amp. generator)
installation to be supervised by the City; heavy duty seat springs,
deluxe heater, oil bath, air cleaner purilator, directional signals,
spot lights, five (5) first line, standard, 4 -ply tires and tubes,
twin seats in cab, imitation leather seat covers, standard shift
transmission, two external rear view mirrors, double rear doors to
open outward, one heavy duty 6 -volt battery and one heavy duty 12 -volt
battery, each side and the rear of the trucks to be inscribed with
"City of Paducah Police Department" using letters three inches in height.
Delivery to be made within thirty (30) days after contract is awarded.
SECTION 2_ That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said trucks as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
