DIESEL FUEL, h10TOR OIL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LUBE OIL AND ANTI -FREEZE
FOR USE BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEiNTUCKY FOR THE PERIOD OF TIDE FROI•i
JANUARY 1, 1956 TO JUNE 30, 1956, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERI.IS AND CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIi•ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTIOiN 1. That the City i•Ianager be and he is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah with D -X Sunray Oil
Company for the purchase of Regular gasoline and Ethyl gasoline at the
established tank wagon price at time of delivery less Federal Tax and less
discount of 1.8� per gallon; in no event is the net price of Regular gasoline
to, exceed 22.9¢ per gallon less the above discount of 1.8¢ per gallon, and in
na event shall the net price of Ethyl gasoline exceed 25.4y per gallon less
said discount; the octane rating of Regular gasoline to be not less than 84
and the octane rating of Ethyl gasoline to be not less than 90; Diesel fuel
at the present tank wagon price of 14.5¢ per gallon less 1.60 per gallon
discount; oils and greases as follows: Premium grade, Brand D -X Motor Oil,
in 55 -gallon drums, at 81¢ per gallon less discount of 9� per gallon;
First grade H.D. Diesel Lube, Diamond Brand TBD Idotor Oil at 68� per gallon
less discount of 22�- per gallon; First grade Mon -detergent Diamond ia:otor
Oil at 620 per gallon less discount of 9¢ per gallon; Chassis Lubricant
D -X Brand, All-purpose in 100-120 pound drums at 20.50 per pound less discount
of 1.5� per pound; D-' Brand All-purpose Gear Lubricant in 55 -gallon drums,
140 and 90 weight, at 5;1.12 per gallon less discount of 16¢ per gallon;
Permanent type Anti -freeze, in case lots of six 1 -gallon cans, •;22.17 per
gallon.
All products furnished to the City will be paid for on or about the
k5th day of the month following the purchase and the City is to have a
1;o cash discount in 10 days on all motor oils and greases and is not to
be required to make deposits on drums but will return the drums.
All prices are to be guaranteed against advance and the City is to
receive the benefit of any price reduction.
The Company will furnish and install three electrically operated and
metered gasoline pumps, necessary tanks and concrete islands and will furnish
one electrically operated and metered diesel pump and underground tank.
In the, event of fire or other emergencies, the Company shall deliver
its products at any time, day or night, seven days per week.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
