"AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND
ZONING COI+1fiISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LYING SOUTH OF
HARRIS STREET, NORTH OF PARK AVENUE, EAST OF SIXTH STREET AND WEST OF
THE OHIO RIVER, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING," WHICH WAS ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 27, 1955
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPTaSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Plan-
ning and Zoning Commission on October 19, 1955, entitled "A RESOLU-
TION AMENDING SECTION 1 OF A RESOLUTION ENTITLED fA RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COMiwIISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LYING SOUTH OF HARRIS
STREET, NORTH OF PARK AVENUE, EAST OF SIXTH STREET AND WEST OF THE
OHIO RIVER?, [^WHICH WAS ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 21, 1955", be approved
as a supplemental final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That Section 2 of the ordinance referred to in
the title hereof be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. That the zone classification of
the following property be, and it is hereby,
changed from C-1, R-3 and M-1 to M-2 (descriptions
assume that all numbered streets run north and
south and all named streets east and west):
"Frist Tract
'Beginning at the intersection of the center
line of Park Avenue with the west line of
Fifth Street; thence west with the center
line of Park Avenue 129.94 feet; thence at
right angles north 203.25 feet; thence at
right angles west to the center line of
Sixth Street; thence north with the center
line of Sixth Street to a point 200 feet
south of the south line of Campbell Street
(measured at right angles to Campbell
Street); thence east parallel to the
south line of Campbell Street and that
line extended to the west line of Fifth
Street extended; thence south with the
west line of Fifth Street and that line
extended to the beginning.
"Second Tract
'Beginning at the intersection of the
center lines of Sixth Street and Harris
Street; thence south with the center line
of Sixth Street to the center line of
Campbell Street; thence west with the
center line of Campbell Street to the
Center line of the continuation of Sixth
Street; thence continuing south with the
center line of Sixth Street to a point

200 feet south of the south line of Camp-
bell Street (measured at right angles to
Campbell Street); thence east along a line
parallel with the south line of Campbell
Street (and that line extended) to the
low water mark of the Ohio River; thence
north with said low water mark to its
intersection with the center line of
Harris Street, extended; thence west with
the center line of Harris Street (and
that line extended) to the beginning."
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING MAP", be and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or
invalid.for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph
or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordi-
nance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all othersections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
