RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT OF 01,280,000
GENERAL OBLIGATION SEWER BONDS
WHEREAS this Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, has been authorized pursuant to an election held in and
for said city on November 2, 1954, and an ordinance finally adopted
March 30, 1955, to issue General Obligation Sewer Bonds of said city
in the aggregate principal amount of $1,2$0,000; and
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary that said bonds be advertised
at this time;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That General Obligation Sewer Bonds of said City of
Paducah, in the prinicpal amount of $1,280,000, dated May 15, 1955, as
authorized by ordinance finally adopted March 30, 1955, be advertised
for sale and bids be requested for action upon by this Board of Comm-
issioners at its session to be held at the City Hall, in said city, at
7:30 o'clock P.M., C.S.T., on October 25, 1955, and that the City Clerk
be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to publish notice of such
sale at least once in the Sun -Democrat, the official newspaper of said
city, in the Courier -Journal, a legal newspaper of general circulation
published in Louisville, and in The Bond Buyer, a financial journal of
general circulation published in New York City. Said Clerk is hereby
further authorized to give such other notice and information as may be
reasonably required in order to give due publicity to such sale.
SECTION 2. That all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
