AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RIGHT OF WAY FOR TRAFFIC AT VARIOUS
INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FIXING THE PENALTY
FOR VIOLATION HEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. As used in this ordinance the term intersection
shall mean the whole of that space at the intersection of one street
with another which is bounded by the property lines as extended across
said streets.
SECTION 2. Vehicles of any kind being operated on the first
named streets at the following intersections shall have the right of
way over other traffic at said intersections:
Boyd Street & 9th Street
Washington Street & 22nd Street
Washington Street & 23rd Street
Washington Street & 24th Street
25th Street & Washington Street
26th Street & Washington Street
26th Street & Clark Street
25th Street & Clark Street
25th Street & Adams Street
Vine Street & Friedman Avenue
Park Avenue & 6th Street
Forest Circle & Cedar Lane
13th & Bloomfield Avenue
13th & Langstaff Avenue
The intersection of Tennessee Street & 11th Street shall be
a 3 -Way stop, meaning that all traffic shall stop before
entering said intersection except west bound traffic on
Tennessee Street.
SECTION 3. Before entering any intersection listed in Section
2 hereof, the operator of the vehicle using the intersecting street not
having the right of way as described in said Section shall bring his
vehicle to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or cross said
intersection.

SECTION 4_ Any person driving a vehicle or any person, firm,
company or corporation operating a vehicle in violation of any pro-
vision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined
not less than $5.00 nor more than $20.00 for each offense.
SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 6_ This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
