CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON SEPTEMBER 27, 1955
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 7 of the "Appointive Employees,
Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on December 2, 1947 and amended on September 27, 1955, be, and the same
is hereby amended and reordained so that said Section as amended and re -
ordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 7. There is hereby created and authorized the
following positions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of
each position,'provided the amount.of such salary is not changed under 17121_
any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

Finance Director, Head of Department

Assistant Treasurer 300.00
Assessor 300.00
Clerk -typist in Assessor,s'office 1$0.00
Auditor 296.00
Bookkeeping NMachine Operator
(formerly Bookkeeper) .240.00
Senior Cla rk (formerly Deputy Treasurer) 230.00
Clerk Stenographer 220.00
Machine Operator 220.00
.Clerk -typist (2 positions) 210.00
The Clerk -typist in the Assessor's office'shall be paid
at the rate of $180.00 per month for the first six months,
$190.00 per month for the next six months and $200.00 per
month thereafter upon recommendation of the City Manager. it
SECTION 2_ All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from,and after its adoption.
