AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"TAN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF A CITY PHYSICIAN
FOR THE TREATMENT OF ALL INDIGENT WHITE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED BY THE
CITY PHYSICIAN; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF HIS COMPENSATION; AND RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF COMMIISSIONERS ON JANUARY 23, 1951, AND AMENDED ON
MARCH 23, 1954
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE -BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF•
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on January 23, 1951, and amended on march 23, 1954, be, and the
same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read
as follows:
"SECTION 3:. The compensation of the City Physician shall be
$600.00 per month, the amount of said salary to be paid to him at
the same time as the salaries of other city employees are paid,
and the payment thereof shall be effective as of November 1, 1955."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3_ This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after November 1,-1955-.
