AN 0_RDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF
25TH STREET AT THE OLD HAYFIELD ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATION
COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE ACTION IN THE McCRAPKEN CIRCUIT COURT FOR
THE CLOSING OF SAID PORTION OF SAID STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That the City of Paducah, Kentucky does hereby
authorize the closing of that portion of 25th Street described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the west line of the Old
Mayfield Road and the north line of South 25th Street as
dedicated in Plat approved by the Paducah, Kentucky, Planning
and Zoning Commission, September 15, 1952 and recorded in
Plat Book f'D", page 74; thence in a westerly direction and
at an exterior angle of 96 degrees from the west line of the
Old 14ayfield Road and with the line of a 10 degree curve 120.0
feet; thence continuing in a westerly direction and at a right
deflection angle of 3 degrees and 50 minutes with the line of a
19.1649 degree curve 40.16 feet; thence back in an easterly
direction and at an interior angle of 8 degrees and 32 minutes
with the line of a 4.43579 degree curve 75.71 feet; thence
continuing in an easterly direction and at a right deflection
angle of l degree -40 minutes 30 seconds 6$:32 feet; thence
at an interior angle of 132 degrees and 27 minutes to the
west line of Old Bayfield Road; thence at an interior angle
of*132 degrees and 27 minutes and with the west line of the
Old Iayfield Road 14.91 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION'2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah
is hereby authorized and empowered to institute, pursuant to the
provisions of Ms 94.360, a suit for a decree ordering the closing
of said portion of said street.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
