OF PADUCAH, I ENITUCILY:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on I -;ay 22, 1951, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that said
section as amended shall -read as follows:
IISECTIM1- 3. Said premiums shall be paid in monthly install-
s-zments and shall be set apart out of the amounts due and owing to
r y1 said employees by the City of Paducah as of the payroll period ending
the 15th day of each and every month hereafter so long as said
insurance shall remain in full force and effect.
? f°The John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company of Boston,
.assachusette, havin; proposed a plan_ of such group life insurance
and by the terms of rinich each member of said group of insurance
as herein provided r;ould have an insurance benefit upon his life
of ,,1,000 orj2,000 as nay be elected by the employee, the Iiayor
is authorized to execute by signing on behalf of the City of Paducah,
and subject to the conditions contained in this ordinance, any
application, instrument or contract for the procurement of such
insurance."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption. e!•ayor
