AN ORDINANCE AP•MbTDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CASKEY PONTIAC COIPAITY FOR THE SALE
TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF FOUR (4) 1955 PONTIAC AUTOMOBILES, AMID
AUTHORIZING THE CITY 14ANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAIv'PE", M41ICH UAS
ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COTSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH ON
JULY 26, 1955
117HEREAS, on July 26, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah adopted an ordinance bearing the above title, and
11HEREAS Section 1 of said ordinance provided that the City of
Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Caskey Pontiac Company in the sura of
;x8,729.78, less 212,950.00 for trade-in of present police cars numbers
3, 4, 5, and 7, making the total delivery cost of 05,579.78, and
UIHEREAS said sum of .;;5,579.7$ was in error and the correct
amount of the delivery cost should have been ;)5,779.78, the difference
between :8,729.78 and )2,950.00.
NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COEMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, K iTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, uhich was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July
26, 1955 be, and the same is hereby, amended so that as amended said
section shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
of Caskey Pontiac Company in the sum of ia8,729.78 less ti ?2,950.00 for
trade-in on present police cars numbers 3, 42 5 and 7, making the total
delivery cost of 15,779.78 for the sale to the City of four (4) 1955
860 four door Pontiac automobiles with special heavy duty police
equipment."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to July 26, 1955.
