DUTIES of SUCH BOARD
BE IT ORDAIMIED BY THE BOARD OF CO1.11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTIOP 1. There is hereby created and established a "Cemetery
Advisory Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky", consisting of
five members who shall be of legal age and residents of the City
of Paducah. The members shall be appointed by the Mayor and
the appointments shall be approved by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah. Three of the members shall be appointed for
a terra of two (2) years and two of the members shall be appointed for
a perm of three (3) years. All of the members, including any and all
officers that might be elected or appointed by such board shall serve
without compensation.
SECTIOI? 2. The duty of the Cemetery Advisory Board shall be
to study and investigate plans for improving the condition of Oak
Grove Cemetery and its Additions, and from time to time to recommend
to the Board of Commissioners and the City Manager any and all plans
and suggestions for the better operation of the cemetery deemed
advisable by the herein created board.
SECTION 3. The Cemetery Advisory Board shall not incur any
indebtedness to be paid by the City of Paducah and -the City shall not
be responsible for any debts incurred by said Board
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full Porte and effect
from and after its adoption.
