AN ORDINANCE FI_XING THE RIGHT OF WAY FOR TRAFFIC AT
VARIOUS INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; FIXING
A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CONPHISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. As used in this; ordinance the term "inter-
section" shall mean the whole of that space at the intersection
of one street with another which is bounded by the property lines
as extended across said streets.
SECTIOFI 2. Vehicles of any kind being operated on the
first named streets at the following intersections shall have the
right of way over other traffic at said intersections:
Clay Street and 6th Street
Clay Street and 16th Street
SECTION 3. Before entering any intersection listed in
Section 2 hereof, the operator of the vehicle using the intersecting
street not having the right of way as described in said section_, shall
bring his vehicle to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or
cross said intersection.
SECTIOPd 4. Any person driving a vehicle, or any person, firm,
company o:�_,corporation operating a vehicle in violation of any pro-
vision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not
less than ;?5.00 nor more than �;20.00 for each offense.
SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION 6_ This ordinance shall be in fall force and effect
from and after its adoption.
