AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF
"FUTURE THURMAN STREET EXTENDED" IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CORPORATION COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE A SUIT IPI THE McCRACKEN CIRCUIT
COURT FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING SAID PORTION OF SAID STREET LEGALLY
CLOSED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CON4ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky does hereby
authorize the closing of the following set out portion of "Future
Thurman Street Extended" in the City of Paducah, Kentucky:
Being that portion designated in Plat
Book "D", page 1 between the broken lines
referred to as Future Thurman Street (Extended)
fronting 50 feet on the north side of Yeiser
Street and extending back in a northerly direction
toward I%ieyers Street at an uniform width to the
south line of a 15 foot alley and being 717.55
feet in depth.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered
and directed to institute in the McCracken Circuit Court a suit for a.
decree ordering the closing of the above set out street pursuant
to the provisions of KRS 94.360.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
