AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
AND ZOHING COI•IiISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BURNETT
STREET BETWEEN 11TH A14D 12TH STREETS AND PROPERTY ON 12TH STREET BETI'JEEN
BOYD AND FLOURNOY STREETS, AND AI,IENDIIIdG THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCII REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COLI-IISSIOHERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KEI,ITUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on May 18, 1955, entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
C0I0IISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BURNETT STREET
BETWEEN 11TH STREET AND 12TH STREET AND PROPERTY ON 12TH STREET
BETI'IEEN BOYD AND FLOURNOY STREETS", be approved as the final report
of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3.
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 11th
Street and Burnett Street; thence south with the center line
of Burnett Street 215 feet to the center line of an alley;
thence east with the center line of said alley 110 feet;
thence south parallel with Burnett Street 215 feet to the
center line of 12th Street; thence west with the center line
of 12th Street 548 feet to the center line of an alley; thence
north with the center line of said alley 215 feet to the
center line of another alley; thence east with the center
line of the last mentioned alley 265.5 feet to the center
line of another alley; thence north with the center line of
the last mentioned alley 215 feet to the center line of 11th
Street; thence east with the center line of 11th Street 172.5
feet to the beginning.
SECTS That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred
to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING MAP1T
be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section
2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from
all other sections,paragraphs and provisions.
SECT This ordinance shdl be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption,
