AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET EAST OF FINLEY STREET, AND AMENDING
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM41SSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on April 20, 1955, entitled: '}A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
EIGHTH STREET EAST OF FINLEY STREET", be approved as the final report
of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby changed from R-3 to B-1:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines
of Eighth Street and Finley.Street; thence east
with the center line of Eighth Street 76 feet to
a point; thence north parallel with Finley Street
242.5 feet to a point; thence west parallel with
Eighth Street 76 feet to a point in the center line
of Finley Street;,thence south with the center line
of Finley Street to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING MAP't be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for
in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4, That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
