PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF KENTUCKY AVENUE BETWEEN FOURTEENTH STREET
(EXTENDED) AND SIXTEENTH STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on April 6, 1955 entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
GONMISSION OF THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF KENTUCKY AVENUE BETWEEN FOURTEENTH STREET (EXTENDED) AND SIX-
TEENTH STREET", Be approved as the final report of said Commission
respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Kentucky
Avenue and Fifteenth Street; thence east with the center line of
Kentucky Avenue to the west boundary of the existing B-3 zone;
thence north with said boundary to a point equidistant from the
center lines of Kentucky Avenue and Broadway; thence west paral7
with the center line of Broadway to the easterly boundary of the
existing B-3 zona between Fifteenth Street and Sixteenth Street;
thence south and east with said boundary to the center line of
Kentucky Avenue; thence east with the center line of Kentucky
Avenue to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING MAP", be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid fox
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or pro-
vision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to
make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
