EMPLOYEES? CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE
BOARD OF COrirrvaSSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947, AND AMENDED OCTOBER
6, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1'12JSSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, Ii.ENTUCRY:
SECTION 1. That Section 8-B of the "Appointive Employees,
.Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on December 2, 1947, and amended on October 6, 1953,
be further amended and reordained so that said Section as amended
and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTIO:, 8-B. There is hereby authorized and created the
following positions in the Public V1,orks Department, heretofore known
as the Street Department, and the salary of each position, provided
the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full .force and effect
on and after April 1, 1955.
