AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF C. N. BAKER & SON FOR
THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TWO 1955 OLDSMOBILE AUTOMOBILES
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SANE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMAISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
bid of C. N. Baker & Son for two S$$ Oldsmobile 4 -door sedans to
be equipped with safety tires, tinted glass, heater complete with
defroster, back-up lights, automatic transmission, one 61, spot
light, power steering, power brakes and eight cylinder motor; one
to be painted black and one to be painted fire department red, at
the purchase price of $2,659.67 each, or a total of $5,319.34, less
the trade-in allowance of X450.00 for one 1950 Oldsmobile and x$350.00
for one 1952 Plymouth, making the net cost of the two cars in the
sum of x"4,519.34.
SECTRON 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said
automobiles as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the com-
pleted form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days there-
after.
