Ali ORDINANCE FIXING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR TRAFFIC AT THE INTER-
SECTION OF JEFFERSON STREET WITH 17TH STREET OR FOUNTAIN AVENUE IN
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI-IZSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KEPITUCIiY;
SECTION 1. Vehicles of any kind being operated on Jefferson
Street in Paducah, Kentucky, shall have the right of way over other
traffic at the intersection of said street with 17th Street or
Fountain Avenue.
SECTION 2. Before entering the intersection listed in Section 1
of this ordinance, the operator of a vehicle using the intersecting
street not having the right -of -.jay as described in Section 1, shall
being his vehicle to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or
to cross said intersection.
SECTIMi 3. Any person driving a vehicle, or any person, firm,
company or corporation operating a vehicle in violation of any pro-
vision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined
not less than ;;5.00 nor more than ;120.00 for each offense.
SECTION L_ All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after 12;01 o'clock A.!.!. on November 1, 1954 until 12;01
o'clock A.M. on January 1, 1955, or unless repealed, amended or
extended prior to January 1, 1955.
