AN ORDINANCE DECLARING MONROE STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
A BOULEVARD FROM THE EAST LINE OF 3RD STREET TO THE EAST LINE OF 28TH STREET,
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE INTERSECTIONS OF 8TH STREET, 13TH STREET, 17TH STREET
AND 21ST STREET; REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES TO STOP BEFORE ENTERING OR CROSSING
SAID STREET AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH OTHER STREETS; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY
FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0131ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Monroe Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky from
the east line of 3rd Street to the east line of 28th Street with the exception
of the intersection of 8th Street, 13th Street, 17th Street and 21st Street,
be, and it is hereby declared to be and is established as a boulevard, and all
vehicles of every kind approaching said street at its intersection with other j
streets shall come to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or cross said Ili
street or boulevard. i
SECTION 2. Any person driving a vehicle, or any person, firm, company or
corporation operating a vehicle in violation of any provision of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than 55.00 nor more than
"'20.00 for each offense.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herei'dth
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
