AN ORDINANiCE DECLARING THE INTERSECTION OF 21ST STREET, OLD 1,1AYFIELD ROAD
AND COY1,Y STREET A FOUR-WAY STOP FOR ALL TRAFFIC, AND FIYI'G THE PENALTY FOR
THE VIOLATION TFEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF 001,1IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
!MI'TUCI{Y:
SECTION 1. As used in this ordinance, the term "intersection" shall
mean the whole of the space at the intersection of one street with another
which is bounded by the property lines as would be extended across said
streets.
SECTION, 2. The intersection of 21st Street, Old Mayfield Road and
Corey Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby declared to be a Four -
Way Stop for all traffic at such intersection, meaning that all traffic shall
stop before entering said intersection.
SEC^1ION 3. Any driver who violates the provisions of this ordinance by
failing to stop at the intersection designated in Section 2, shall, upon
conviction, be fined not less than ;'5.00 nor more than .,'20.00 for each vio-
lation thereof.
SECTIOIT 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
