AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEESt
CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSION-
ERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON APRIL 27, 1954
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 7 of the "Appointive Employees?
Civil 6ervice Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on December 2, 1947 and amended on April 27, 1954, be, and the same is
hereby amended and reordained so that said Section as amended and re -
ordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 7. There is hereby created and authorized the
following positions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of
each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under
any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

2 Chief Assessor 310.00
3 Assistant Treasurer 300.00
4 Assessor 300.00
5 Auditor 296.00
6 Bookkeeping Machine Operator
(formerly Bookkeeper) 240.00
7 Senior Clerk
(formerly Deputy Assessor) 235.00
8 Senior Clerk
(formerly Deputy Treasurer) 230.00
9 Clerk Stenographer 220.00
10 Machine Operator 220.00
11 Clerk -typist (2 positions)' 210.0011
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective
as of June 1, 1954•
